Sync Dropping In Pugs

Said players bragged in game about using "true teamwork", wow, that's awesome, one team all on comms vs. a pug team, in which I was one of a 4 man.
Seriously guys, grow up, no-one else gives a rats backside about the size of your epeen, if you wanna drop with 12 guys, join the 12 man team queue, trying to play 12 mans vs. pugs is lame and weak, you should be a little ashamed of yourselves.

What you suspected might be true, but I do not think it is probable that so many of them managed to successfully sync-drop in the same game. Their Elos should be different.
And any self respecting group player will not intentionally perform badly, just because their teammates are on the opposite side. At least, not us Mariks. We revel in fratricide.

I guess I should have taken a screenie of the end battle screen, but quit in disgust before it was over, all the same, 9 players from the same faction, plus 3 randoms in trial mechs, plus 3 more of the same faction on my team, who did their level best to avoid contact with the enemy, makes my spider senses tingle a little....You may be 100% correct, and we were just witness to a statistical anomaly, however, given my knowledge of human nature, I am highly sceptical.
Being a veteran of many different MMO's, I have seen many a sync drop before, and have a fair idea of what one looks like...I called them out on the sync drop, and not one of them denied it, instead, lots of gobbing off about "true teamwork" ensued...
At least I killed the mouthy one in the HGN 733C, who was such an elite player that he overheated in front of my D-DC....

Sync drops have been happening almost from the very beginning, but it is all about to end when the drop module gets implemented... finally... by PGI. At least, in theory it should all end.

Beware of glass houses, lest someone throw a stone.
Three guesses what Alpha lance did when they saw Roadbeer and Davers on the other side of the drop.

How about join the 4+ team initiative instead. Imagine how much better of a chance you would have had all 6 of your friends were on a team. Maybe one more shows up, no problem, just drop as a 7 man. Everytime your team increases in size expect a larger team group on the other side.
Instead PGI tries to stop this and forces players to sync drop. Not everyone has 12 people around all the time to wait 45 minutes to find another 12 man to launch against. It is so trivial it isn't worth it.
Not to mention that while you are sync dropping it is just as likely that they fight each other as end up on the same team. I have had this happen literally hundreds of times. Kinda fun in it's own way, but not the original idea to be sure.
So instead of getting angry at fellow 4 man lances try making some noise to PGI about matching large groups vs large groups and removing the team size limit. You know the concept the players wanted that PGI said in December was coming.
Don't attack the symptom go to the source of the problem 2-4 man limit.

'Accidental' syc drops happen occasionally. I often find myself against other Mariks I know in the same match, usually on the opposing side.

With a limit of one premade per side it will severely reduce groups sync dropping. However, once solo players find themselves in the same lobby as their friends, they will most likely stay in that lobby.

We did speak with them after that match, and their actions were not because of us, but due to the actions of one of the other lances on their team in the previous match. Honestly, it was very embarrassing for Road and I to see that. If the other team had filed a complaint to PGI it would have been justified.

Still does not justify their actions.. especially since its a NEW game with New Lances (was every player aware?)...
While I agree the limiting factor of having a 6 premade team or some other number between 4-12 is needed... its crap like this makes this game less fun...
However at least you guys dealt with it and posted here... so thank you for that.

I did not say their actions were justified under the CoC. I was merely saying it was not due to facing Roadbeer and myself, which wanderer's post implies. Apparently there were problems with another premade or players on their team from the drop before.

12-mans vs 12-mans were never good for farming C-Bills, actually they were merely to spend some C-Bills for strikes,UAVs and so on. So, obvious, sync-drops in PUGs are there for farming... Or, maybe, for stroking e-peens, ever since those players are "PRO-teamplayers". We'll never know this, cause they aren't playing 12-mans. Whatever...

Let's also note that ironically, this means that there were at least two full premades on one side (the losing one, no less) and zero full ones on the one I was on- since premades are slotted Alpha, Beta, Charlie and Roadbeer/Daver was at best with two people, since neither of the other two in Alpha were part of the same group.
I saved that screenshot for more reasons than one.

Actually, it was a 3 man. You were the odd man out.

It's hard to arrange a 12-man with PGI's great effort in social field. Only large units can allow it. And when you arranged your company, finding another 12-man company to fight is harder in geometrical progression.
Sync drops are OK as long as people can land both in same and in separate teams. Bragging about the stomp when premades landed in the same team is not.
